Hey Tuxera NTFS for Mac fans! With the launch of macOS High Sierra on September 25th, we expect many of you will be updating soon if you have not done so already. In case you haven't been following Mac news too closely, every Mac that can run macOS Sierra can update to High Sierra. Those Macs include:

This is an issue we're aware of and we're working to fix it with the upcoming version of Tuxera NTFS for Mac.
I have updated my MacBook Pro to macOS High Sierra 10.13. I previously used Paragon NTFS but now it's not working so I uninstalled it. However I noticed I can still read and write to my external hard drive without any other app. Does this mean macOS High Sierra natively supports writing to NTFS. Remote mac download.

Temporary workaround for Tuxera NTFS for Mac version 2016.1
In the meantime, we're happy to inform you that Tuxera NTFS for Mac for Sierra is compatible with High Sierra as well. The reason it may be unavailable after you update to High Sierra is that the operating system version prevents extensions from loading automatically. As a temporary workaround, go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy. Find the text that reads, 'System software from 'Tuxera Inc.' was blocked from loading.', and click Allow.
Update Feb 2018: A new version of Tuxera NTFS for Mac is now available, which helps you breeze through this setup. This workaround is no longer needed.

I, Manually Enable Mac NTFS Write Using Terminal in OS X
- From Finder Window, find out and remember the NAME of the NTFS Volume (USB or External Disk) from the left side.
2. Launch Terminal (Found in Applications/Utilities), then enter the following command line.

file then must be called in blank by default. You then enter the following command line.
Note: The NAME must be replaced by your Drive name.
What to do if the Drive NAME contains words that are separated by a space? For example MAC NTFS WRITE, the space will stand for '040' (MAC040NTFS040WRITE).
4. Press exactly Ctrl + O to save and Ctrl + X to end the Terminal.
After the NTFS Drive is unmounted (you take it off), then plug it into the mac again in the next time, the Volume no longer exists at the left pane side any more. To find it, From Finder window, click on Go (on the top menu), then choose Go to Folder, then enter the /Volumes

II, Install NTFS-3G, a Free NTFS Driver for Mac
